Job Description
We are seeking a Mid to Senior – Level System Analyst with strong experience in Front Arena or Murex trading systems. This is a hybrid position based in Johannesburg, supporting a capital markets environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical and business analysis skills to help design, configure, test, and implement trading system solutions for clients in the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and clarify client system requirements across business and technical domains
Design and deliver functional and/or technical solutions aligned to client challenges
Configure or develop within Front Arena (or similar systems) to meet requirements
Documents are all aspects of system analysis, including specifications and testing
Conduct and support various phases of testing: unit, interaction, regression, UAT
Provide post- implementation support and training users
Ensure system solutions meet quality standards and client expectations
Engage stakeholders across projects, including internal teams and clients
Continuously develop expertise in system analysis and capital markets
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following (honours preferred):
Financial Mathematics
Actuarial Science
Computer Science
Electrical/ Electronic Engineering
Experience & Knowledge
3+years working with FIS Front Arena or Murex (Essential)
Strong understanding of Capital markets across asset classes
Experience in system configuration and/ or development
Solid foundation in business analysis principles
Exposure to project environments involving technical financial systems
