Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to set up, maintain and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines. You will be responsible for producing high-quality precision parts and ensuring the machines are running efficiently and accurately.
ROLE PURPOSE
Programming, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machining.
Measure and verify all calculations prior to setting up the machinery.
Enter all relevant codes to specify the feed, speed, and cut off any toolpath for a CNC.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, drawings, and work instructions.
Loading and unloading workpieces and CNC production equipment.
Monitoring machining operations and performing quality control checks.
Following safety requirements and maintaining certification.
Complete routine maintenance of their machinery.
Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Shift work.

Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.

Understanding of Fanuc controls Experience on Vertical CNC lathes will be advantageous

Qualifications
Certificate or diploma in engineering is an advantage.
3 years experience as a CNC Machine Operator.
Relevant trade qualifications required Microsoft Office Intermediate
Valid driver’s license
