Job description
A well -established FMCG manufacturing company based in Blackheath, Capetown, is seeking an experienced Night shift Supervisor to join their production team. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage a production teams, maintain high-standards, and ensure efficient shift operations. If you have experience supervising night shift teams within a manufacturing production environment and enjoy driving performance and efficiency, we’d like to hear from you.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Coordinate with maintenance and quality departments to address and resolve issues promptly.
Complete shift reports, documents incidents, and communicate effectively with day shift management.
Manage timekeeping, attendance and performance of team members.
Ensure proper handovers between shifts for seamless operations.
Requirements
Matric or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience as a supervisor or Team leader within manufacturing or FMCG experience.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent problem-solving, decision making and communication skills.
Ability to work night shift and handle operational demands in fast-paced environment.
Good understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
Computer literacy (MS Office and production reporting system).
