Job Description
A well established manufacturing company based in Ottery, Capetown, is seeking a production supervisor to oversee daily production operations within a fast-paced manufacting environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hands-on individual with strong leadership skills to ensure smooth production flow, maintain quality standards, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities
Supervise and co-ordinate production activities to achieve daily targets.
Monitor workflow, identity bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency.
Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
Lead, motivate, a d train production teams to enhance, perfomance and productivity
Maintain accurate production records and reports on output, downtime and performance metrics.
Ensure adherence to health,safety and housekeeping standards.
Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless production process.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall plant perfomance.
Requirements
Matric or equivalent qualification.
A relevant qualification in Production
Management or Industrial Engineering will be advantageous.
Proven experience in supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
